You may try pressing the Minus button (if I remember right for the Switch controller, it might be something else) to bring up the Customize/Upgrade menu and see if you can trigger the upgrade tutorial earlier than prompted in Level 4.Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is a sequel that plays it very safe – which, in this particular case, is for the better. Now, once you have deleted the data, the big question is whether or not it will happen again. I suspect that there's a "skill_upgrade_tutorial completed" or such flag that is not getting marked correctly and that causes the issue. And it probably isn't deleted upon redownload either. Technical explanation: I suspect something is going wrong with the "options" file which won't get deleted when you delete save games within the game itself. Sadly that will of course delete your progress. Nintendo's instructions on how to delete the game save data: You can also try to either quit and restart the game, or redownload the game, and perhaps most importantly delete the savegames within the game and outside of the game.
